Our project in Nicaragua
In our hammock factory, people who have no chance in the rest of the Nicaraguan labor market due to physical or mental impairments have the opportunity to exploit their potential and make a living. Here you will find a place where you are respected and seen, feel comfortable, can exchange ideas and be a role model. We don't want to be an isolated case. That's why our doors are always open for viewings. In order to actively raise awareness of the topic of inclusion in Nicaraguan society, we regularly invite companies, school classes and private groups to our Centro Social.
In addition to the hammock factory, Antonio takes care of other great projects and advocates for more inclusion in the country at a political level. We support this work by selling our hammocks and equipping events with our hammock lounges.

Nicaragua is definitely worth a trip and a visit to our Centro Social is almost a must on your Nicaragua trip. The people are a great asset and the food in our Café de las Sonrisas is extremely delicious. And best of all, you don't even need to know Spanish. Our menu consists only of pictures and our employees can understand very well what it means to not be understood. In our hammock workshop you can also have your individual hammock made on site.
